The ProPleat Waterproof Riding Coat has been designed for riders who want proper weather protection without the bulk of a long riding coat.
Made from advanced BionicFabric® with a Teflon® finish, it offers a certified 15K waterproof rating, wind resistance and everyday durability. Finished with a detachable hood, 2-way riding zip and our signature rear pleats, it is made to move with you in and out of the saddle.

Why This Length?
We purposely designed the ProPleat to be hip length rather than a long coat. During trials, riders found longer coats could interfere with the seat, feel restrictive during training, or end up being taken off shortly after getting on.
This length was chosen to keep the coat clear of the saddle while still offering practical protection from the elements.

The ProPleat gives you waterproof protection without feeling heavy, bulky or restrictive. The rear pleats allow movement, the 2-way zip gives extra comfort when riding, and the detachable hood makes it practical for changing weather.

This jacket is just divine. Super stylish as well as functional. Perfect weight for winter with enough room to add a layer underneath. I love this coat so much that I also have the navy and yellow hi-vis (no fill) versions, too.

This coat is so warm and cosy. The Lycra at the wrists is great to have the snug feeling without bulk.
I’m usually an XL in HH tops, but as this is fitted and I’m a 38C chest, I needed to size up to an XXL. This gives me the freedom to have some movement without feeling restricted across my chest and shoulders, but does mean it’s slightly baggier around the waist. I love it though and am looking forward to the colder weather so I can wear it more often.

Not quite 5 stars only because the pleats flap up in a tail wind and my backside gets cold. I might add some weights to reduce that occurring . No need for layering up underneath as the fleece is thick and too much layering restricts movement . Roomy around the middle.
