Horzehoods was founded in 2009 by Stacey, a passionate innovator with a deep love for horses. Her journey began with the invention of an Intellectual Property protected 4 loop bib system for horse hoods, born out of the struggle to find adaptable solutions for her ever-changing youngsters. Despite humble beginnings and a childhood where horse ownership was financially out of reach, Stacey's unwavering belief in her creative vision and determination to break the mold of the equestrian industry drove her forward. With a background in recruitment management and a strong foundation in business and customer service, she was committed to offering bespoke, high-quality, and affordable products that would cater to all riders. Stacey's mission was clear: to create unique, premium items without relying on financial support, knowing that her passion for innovation and design would pave the way for success.

I've had the pleasure of meeting some truly wonderful people in the equestrian community, many of whom come from rich backgrounds. I want to make it clear that I have the utmost respect for all backgrounds, regardless of financial status. While having wealth behind you can certainly provide a head start in starting a business or pursuing a riding career, it's important to recognize that this isn't the reality for many riders, including myself. I faced tough times growing up, and I believe these experiences have grounded me and instilled in me a humble nature and a passion for helping others.

The equestrian world is often associated with wealth and the belief that success hinges on financial backing. I am determined to challenge this stereotype and prove that natural ability can outweigh financial resources. My goal is to break down the narrow vision of greatness in disciplines, body types, and riding abilities. We are all unique, and it's important to celebrate our diversity. At HH Unique, we embrace individuality and strive to offer something for everyone, regardless of their background, style, or discipline.

Having personally experienced the challenges of Crohn’s disease and mental health issues within my family, these are causes that are incredibly important to me. I am committed to incorporating discussions around mental health into my business over time, as I believe it's a vital subject that deserves attention.

In today's age of social media, the equestrian community can sometimes be a negative space. That's why I am proud of the positive and supportive community we have built at HH. We believe in unity and acceptance, and we are dedicated to supporting and uplifting each other. I encourage everyone to embrace their uniqueness and resist the urge to compare themselves to others. Remember, there is only one YOU.

All the HH Team in-house are trained and over seen by Stacey and all have the same qualities and really enjoy providing a service to their customers, whether that be a little written thank you note on your order, polo mints, a free little gift, driving to the post office for one customer that may have missed a collection slot or even pushing the rules by holding the courier collection off to ensure they slip your same day despatch in, the HH Team are known for going that extra mile, because quite frankly it's a family business, they love what they do and that makes you important to HH.
