After much demand, the HORZEHOODS® Hi-Vis Safety Reflective Waterproof Riding Coat is now in the final stages of production and available for preorder. Designed for riders who prioritise safety, visibility, and performance, this technical outer layer has been built to perform across all four seasons.
Unlike our insulated Navy and Black winter coats, the Hi-Vis edition has been intentionally designed without winter chest fill and full Sherpa lining. This allows riders to adapt their own layering depending on the season, making it a far more versatile choice for year-round hacking, trail riding, and everyday outdoor use.
Built with the same premium 15K waterproof rating as our winter range, this coat features fully taped seams, wind-resistant protection, and breathable BionicFabric® technology, offering serious weather defence without unnecessary bulk. Finished with a Teflon® coating for added dirt, stain, and water resistance, it’s engineered for true rider practicality.
The structured pleat system allows freedom of movement in the saddle whilst maintaining a flattering silhouette, and the high-visibility reflective back branding provides maximum safety during road work and low-light riding.
Every HORZEHOODS® product is designed with intention, purpose, and rider practicality at the forefront — and this coat is no exception.

I thought about ordering this jacket for a long time because the customs duties to Germany are so high. But I'm glad I ordered it. I own 3 rain coats and all of them leak 🙈 in the hope that the British can do better, I have now ordered this jacket. I haven't been able to test the waterproofness yet, but I still love it. I’m very visible in the forest even though my horse is more or less camouflage. The details are beautiful and technically well made. The size fits great. To give you a better idea, I am 165 cm / 5.4 ft tall and weigh about 65kg / 143 lb and in winter I can put a light down jacket underneath so I should be well wrapped up. However, I may be tempted to order the winter version in black.

Love this coat-feel super smart in it, bonus is its warm and has a crazy waterproof rating!
I kept looking at it and eventually justified the spend and it was so worth it! Well done HH -another cracker!
I needed to up a size though to accomodate my chest-so if you are above a C cup take this into account x

love my Horzehoods Ltd coat obviously don’t have the skills for an “insta” girl but favourite bit of coat is the tail feathers not only reflective but keep your bottom dry xx (it’s super smart, air vest goes nicely over top and back protector underneath) I am 5ft 11 and went for XL did speak to lovely lady over the phone for help with sizing (thank you)
