Absolute Game Changer

I found this after losing the will to live with lycra tail bags; my mare has a lovely habit of directing her wee precisely into her tail. Every. single. time. Which makes a normal tail bag pretty much next to useless - but this thing is a game changer for an eventer with a pure grey mare!

No mess, no staining, no sopping wet muddy bag to deal with after she comes in from the field - and no constant washing her tail. I just plait her tail up and shove it in the bag, and job done. I tend to double up with a normal lycra one underneath just to be sure; and it works like a dream. Her tail is FINALLY consistantly white - just make sure to put it back on again as soon as you're done riding!

How did I live without this?

Having a grey mare with a white tail is challenging! I have tried other tail bags and none stayed on. I was washing my mares tail 2/3 times a week- before training and shows and it was so labour intensive. Now she lives in this tail bag and it’s saved me so much time! I only take it off to ride (not that I think you need to). She wears it until the second before she comes off the box at a show and her tail is now always sparkling white. Gamechanger!

Tail bag review

The tail bag has been an absolute godsend this winter. I have literally been able to just brush through my cobs tail (which is grey) with no mud or wet. I just bob it back on after riding. It’s so easy to fasten and doesn’t interfere with his tail or dock at all.
