After much demand, the HORZEHOODS® Hi-Vis Safety Reflective Waterproof Riding Coat is now in stock. Designed for riders who prioritise safety, visibility, and performance, this technical outer layer has been built to perform across all four seasons.
Unlike our insulated Navy and Black winter coats, the Hi-Vis edition has been intentionally designed without winter chest fill and full Sherpa lining. This allows riders to adapt their own layering depending on the season, making it a far more versatile choice for year-round hacking, trail riding, and everyday outdoor use.
Built with the same premium 15K waterproof rating as our winter range, this coat features fully taped seams, wind-resistant protection, and breathable BionicFabric® technology, offering serious weather defence without unnecessary bulk. Finished with a Teflon® coating for added dirt, stain, and water resistance, it’s engineered for true rider practicality.
The structured pleat system allows freedom of movement in the saddle whilst maintaining a flattering silhouette, and the high-visibility reflective back branding provides maximum safety during road work and low-light riding.

I thought I had ordered too big but size down would be too small to add layers to so happy with the extra fabric around my waist. Hood is huge so will cover helmet. So I now own three of these my husband bought my first one for Christmas last year in the yellow, I’ve since bought the orange and just recently the teddy Brown with for the winter.
I haven’t wore the orange one yet I bought the XL in orange so I had more room to wear a sweatshirt underneath it in the cold months, and a large in the yellow which I wear other a T-shirt or long sleeve top in the warmer month.
I would say the Brown fabric has more of a stretch in it than the high viz versions do so if you like a bit of stretch, especially over the chest and arms size up!
Would maybe like it an inch longer so it clearly sits over the top of my saddle to help the rain run off onto my exercise sheet which I also have the same matching colour!
What can I say? I’m addicted. 🤣

Purchased for my daughter because she will ride regardless of the weather, as long it's safe for herself and her horse. She recently had a show at her home barn and it rained and poured all morning. She happily got out there in her bright pink jacket and stayed dry and warm all day. It fits beautifully and she says it's perfect when she's in the saddle.
