After much demand, the HORZEHOODS® Hi-Vis Safety Reflective Waterproof Riding Coat is now in the final stages of production and available for preorder. Designed for riders who prioritise safety, visibility, and performance, this technical outer layer has been built to perform across all four seasons.
Unlike our insulated Navy and Black winter coats, the Hi-Vis edition has been intentionally designed without winter chest fill and full Sherpa lining. This allows riders to adapt their own layering depending on the season, making it a far more versatile choice for year-round hacking, trail riding, and everyday outdoor use.
Built with the same premium 15K waterproof rating as our winter range, this coat features fully taped seams, wind-resistant protection, and breathable BionicFabric® technology, offering serious weather defence without unnecessary bulk. Finished with a Teflon® coating for added dirt, stain, and water resistance, it’s engineered for true rider practicality.
The structured pleat system allows freedom of movement in the saddle whilst maintaining a flattering silhouette, and the high-visibility reflective back branding provides maximum safety during road work and low-light riding.
Every HORZEHOODS® product is designed with intention, purpose, and rider practicality at the forefront — and this coat is no exception.

This is a technical waterproof garment with machine-pressed set pleats. Please follow the official care instructions carefully to protect the 15K waterproof performance and pleat structure. Wash with care, avoid harsh detergents, and hang to dry naturally.

Bought this for my daughter recently and she absolutely loves it. Beautiful colour - not garish but easy to spot out hacking. Ideal year round as it’s light enough for summer (in Scotland) and roomy enough for layers underneath in winter. The storm cuffs with thumb holes are a lovely touch.

I like to be seen and be safe so this is the perfect colour for hacking out and for dog walking.
The fit is very flattering and allows for movement. very large hood that actually goes over my riding hat but it's adjustable too. I only just had chance to test the waterproofness as it's been so dry lately and it was perfect.
This is my new favourite coat.

There are so many things to love about this coat. The cops are all substantial and don’t catch the coat material in them, so can do them up/undo them with gloves on. The inner thumb hole sleeves aren’t too snug so don’t trap heat in on warmer days, but will fit inside winter gloves to stop drafts when it’s freezing. The skirt covers the back of the saddle and the front of it. No more soggy bits when it rains! The hood fits over my riding hat for cold days and is removable for warm days. There’s plenty of room to layer up in winter but it still looks good with just a T-shirt under it. And the colours are fab ❤️❤️❤️

So I ummed and arred over what size. I chose medium originally altho it fitted when it arrived I felt come winter with an extra layer or 2 on I’d regret keeping it
Returned it for an exchange of a large. Sorted. Happy days.
Enough room but not too much for the early spring/late autumn rides but great for extra layers in the winter.
Super flattering fit. I’m usually a one who hates the belly/bum area as coats usually accentuate how big they are but this coat even makes both of mine look like they aren’t huge!!!
