Designed for riders wanting comfort, support, and a smart sporty look both in and out of the saddle. The HORZEHOODS® Performance Club Black Long Sleeve Base Layer Top is crafted for active equestrian use, offering the perfect balance of performance, style, and practicality.

Made from premium breathable stretch fabric, this long sleeve base layer provides a flattering sculpted fit without feeling restrictive, allowing full freedom of movement whilst riding, training, or working around the yard. The technical fabric helps regulate comfort during more intense sessions whilst remaining soft against the skin.

Cuffed sleeves create a neat secure fit under riding jackets and gloves, helping everything stay in place whilst you ride. The practical zip-up front offers quick easy wear, replacing traditional buttons for greater comfort and convenience.

Finished with subtle red detailing on the collar for a sporty performance-led look, the design features HH PERFORMANCE branding down the arm, alongside the Performance Club logo and Union Jack detailing above the cuff. A front Performance Club logo completes this versatile premium base layer.

True to size with a comfortable stretch fit designed for active movement.

Care Guide:
Wash inside out using mild detergent. Leave to hang dry naturally away from direct heat. Do not bleach. Wash separately.

Lightweight Fabric

  • Softer, lighter feel with extra stretch
  • Offers a more generous, flexible fit
  • Ideal if you prefer a less compressive light legging feel

Heavyweight Fabric

  • Thicker fabric with a subtle micro-lining
  • Feels more like a substantial breech while still functioning as a legging
  • Designed to provide greater coverage and a more compressive, sculpted feel
  • Due to its close-knit yarn, it will feel snugger on the body

Sizing Recommendation

Both fabrics are made from the same size moulds, however:

  • If you are between sizes:
  1. Choose your usual size in Lightweight (15% of customers do choose a size down in their Lightweight)
  2. Size up in Heavyweight for comfort

    Amazing as always!

    I love the material of the top as it is close fitting but not tight. Its like a second skin when you need to be able to move around comfortably when riding or yard work.

    It’s so good I am now going to buy the vest top style and the longer sleeve version!

    The print down the back also shows you are sat level in the saddle! Lol!

    My favourite base layer!

    I absolutely love this base layer, it’s super smart, flattering fit and quality is second to none as all of horzehoods products are. I have the leggings to match and they look great together! I’m going to have to buy the t-shirt now because I love the base layer so much!

    Love this top and the whole range. Perfect fit and so comfortable. Had lots of compliments on top and the rest of the range! My definite go to top whether at yard or coaching.

    Lovely shirt but a little snug - I ordered L and I'm a size 14. Good length as I'm 5'10" too. Will return and pre-ordered next size up.
