Revisiting the Legacy: A Look Back at Horzehoods’ Iconic Past Collections

At Horzehoods, each collection is more than just clothing, it’s a chapter in a bigger story. Every piece we design is built around a bold theme, with functionality and performance at its core. Using a theme each collection to feel inspired by, using the visuals and feels to create our mood boards ready to sketch and CAD. We don’t follow trends, we create them. And with only 1–2 major collections released per year (sometimes just one powerful Autumn/Winter drop that transitions right into Spring/Summer), every collection is a moment in time that riders remember. We also drop staple product launches throughout the year in between our yearly bespoke collections. We usually launch our AW Collections on the last Friday of every September. 

As a brand, we’ve always chosen depth over frequency. Each collection is designed in-house from scratch, no wholesale catalogues, no shortcuts, just pure creativity, rider-focused innovation, and our signature HH twist.

Now, let’s take a ride down memory lane and revisit the collections that shaped Horzehoods.

The Horzehoods Collection Philosophy

• Limited Edition – Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Our collections are exclusive, ensuring your wardrobe is always one of a kind.

• Themed Drops – Each launch is built around a story or theme that inspires every fabric, cut, and colour.

• Multi-Weather Functionality – Especially in AW releases, we often design with transitional layers that carry riders from winter right into spring.

• Performance Meets Style – Our rider led approach ensures every piece works in the saddle; but also fits into everyday life.

A Ride Through the Archives: Collection by Collection

AW17 — The Tartannia Collection

Our debut drop. This was Horzehoods’ first major statement a daring blend of heritage equestrian style and technical design. Initially as it ran alongside the launch of the HH Unique Equestrian Brand it was solely saddle pads, ears & bandges (always still get asked for matching bandages maybe one day!). Featuring our first in-house tartan print, Tartannia broke the mould and introduced the HH community to something completely new. This was inspired by Scotland and at one point was going to be called The Scots Collection, however with other commitments on our garment Horzehoods brand side we decided to launch just with pads so it ended up becoming The Tartannia Collection.

AW18 — The ThermicRide Collection

Winter, redefined. ThermicRide brought style to cold-weather gear with thermal technology, clean lines, and slim-fit silhouettes that didn’t sacrifice warmth for style. A fan favourite for riders who brave the elements and many still have the ThermicRide Leggings, alongside this we also re surfaced the Horzehoods OG TechniTrim Pads but with our new premium panels we did the Tartannia in and the new 4 layer membranes we created which were such a hit on the Tartannia Pads. 

AW19 — The Classicz Collection

Classic by name, essential by nature. This drop marked the return of staple equestrian wear reimagined through the lens of autumn. Inspired by the rich tones of falling leaves, the collection featured deep wine, rustic brown, cargo green, and bold black. With signature Horzehoods detailing and flattering fits across all sizes, these timeless pieces were made to move with you, season after season.

S20 — The Moon-X Collection

Inspired by the calm, muted tones of the moon’s surface, Moon-X brought a fresh, ethereal palette to the equestrian world. The collection centred around a unique moon-grey base, carefully blended with soft mint and blush tones to create a cool, pale colour story. Lightweight layers, breathable fabrics, and tonal contrasts made this a standout Spring/Summer drop, dreamy in aesthetic, but built for real rider life.

SS21 — The Norway Collection

Scandi-inspired simplicity that we used the Northern Lights to feel inspired by on our mood boards, with HH performance at its core. The Norway Collection embraced funky palettes, out there abstract patterns, technical base layers, and versatile cuts. It channelled clean, Nordic energy with real-world riding functionality.

AW21 — The Tudor Collection

Built in a time of global change, the 20:21 Collection embodied strength and resilience. Featuring sculpted panelling, confident cuts, and new fabric technologies, it became a symbol of pushing through and standing tall.

SS22— The Timeless Collection

This capsule was classic tones meet modern charm. It brought together soft Zest Lemon, Powder Blue, and a calming Grey, intertwined with our exclusive HH stirrup graphic print for a fresh yet familiar feel. Inspired by warm-weather riding and designed to take you seamlessly from spring mornings to high-summer afternoons, each piece. Accents of lemon and blue dance through iconic HH shapes, elevated with subtle summer vibes and breathable fabrics tailored for comfort in the heat. Every item was crafted to feel like a forever piece,  beautifully functional, endlessly wearable.

AW22 — The Space Collection

Our boldest theme to date. Space fused high-tech performance wear with futuristic style. With cosmic-inspired colours, metallic detailing, and engineered fits, this collection was for those ready to stand out from the saddle to the street.

AW23 — The Performance Collection

‘Taking it back to the sport’. Back to the roots of elite riding wear. inspired by power made us look at fashion within powerful cars and formula 1 heavy branding, badges and sports logo’s. Performance focused on breathable mesh panelling, upgraded fabrics, and streamlined designs made for the hardest-working riders. It was as durable as it was dynamic.

AW24 — The Perform-X Collection

The evolution of performance. Perform-X pushed boundaries in riderwear innovation, with upgraded tailoring, smart stretch zones, and a sleek, ultra modern aesthetic. A refined expression of everything Horzehoods has come to stand for.

AW25 — (Secret) Launch Date: 25th September 2025. 7pm.

Each Horzehoods release is a one-time event. No reruns, no reprints, just limited edition collections designed for the here and now. That’s why every past collection still holds value in the hearts (and wardrobes) of our community.
