Equestrian Mindset Ambassador Programme
‘Equestrian Mindset Ambassador Programme’
Each three months we look for a customer to join our Mindset Ambassador Programme.
Here at Horzehoods one of the most important aspects of our business is our customer. As a team and brand our customers and how they are getting on in their equestrian journeys is one which we love to hear and care about, we adore seeing photographs, videos and reviews succeeding in the equestrian world. Succeeding? What is success? Well success is a matter of perception, to us our customers succeeding simply means you are happy, feeling confident in your own self and made a small step forward on where your journey may have been the day before. Small steps in the right direction over a period of time make huge steps.
At Horzehoods we are mental health and body positive advocates, put simply it’s subjects that are personal and important to our team. Each season we are always striving to give back to our customers; with today’s society of Instagram vs real life, it really does contribute towards the effects on a riders mental health. The pressures of having the best photographs, videos, the most expensive clothing, finances, the red rosettes, and the pressure to keep your horse sound to name just a few. Before you know it hobbies start to fade into stress, tears and pressure. A fun sport turns into turmoil and your confidence starts to falter.
This then leads us on to this programme, ‘Equestrian Mindset Ambassador Programme’. We wanted to offer a programme to a chosen customer of ours that has had confidence set backs and really needs that extra support to move forwards. The programme will include:
- HH Unique clothing for both you and your horse with product(s) being despatched to you every month for 3 months.
- We will pay for your confidence coaching call every 2 weeks for 3 months with Amy MacKinnon Coach
- FREE Delivery for 12 months on any future purchases with us in the future
- Your blog updates and photographs documented on our website blog so our followers can follow your progress; we feel sharing progress offers such support to others feeling the same. Sharing your journey is not compulsory only what or if you feel confident sharing.
We have teamed up with Amy MacKinnon from Calm Confident Riders. Amy is a qualified Equestrian Mindset Coach. All calls are strictly confident calls between you and Amy.
Each one hour call with Amy will dig down into why your confidence is having a wobble. Learn why your brain is acting like it is, and find out practical, easy ways to re-set it to start filling up your confidence to be the rider you aspire to be. Dear Horzehoods Team,
My name is Augustė, and I’m a 21-year-old rider from Lithuania. I have been involved with horses since I was 12, and over the past nine years, I’ve developed a strong passion for working with young horses. Currently, I train and compete with my 4-year-old gelding, Atlantic Brilliant. We’ve recently begun participating in regional competitions, primarily in the Klaipėda area.
I discovered Horzehoods while looking for high-quality equestrian wear that offers both performance and comfort. I was immediately impressed by your thoughtful designs and focus on rider practicality. Although I haven’t had the chance to try your products yet, I would be thrilled to wear and promote them.
In Lithuania, the equestrian community is small but growing, and there is strong interest in innovative and stylish riding wear. I would love the opportunity to introduce Horzehoods to riders here and be one of the first to represent your brand in the Baltic region.
I actively share my riding journey through my Instagram account @augusteg_, where I post training sessions, competition updates, and everyday life with my horse. I believe in honest and engaging content and would love to promote Horzehoods authentically through regular posts, reviews, and stories.
Thank you for considering my application. I’d be proud to become part of the Horzehoods Influencer Team and help grow your presence in Lithuania.
Warm regards,
Augustė

Hello, my name is Danae and I am 15 years old. Please could you consider me for your Equestrian Mindset Ambassador Programme. My Instagram and YouTube accounts are called Nae’s Pony Parade. I ride and compete on my pony called Tilly who my parents bought from a dealer after she had been passed from home to home. Tilly was not an easy pony when we got her and we had to work really hard to get her calm and happy and teach her to jump and now I am competing on her! She is still not the easiest but she does love to jump! I look forward to hearing from you! My mum’s email is attached. Kind regards, Danae Lightfoot
Hello, I’d love to be considered as a candidate for this amazing programme! I’m slowly building myself up physically and mentally to compete in ODEs on my rising 5yo ISH, up until last year I had my lovely old trusty boy, I’d had him since he was 7 and I was totally non competitive, he taught me everything I know and together we were rock solid, sadly he did a check ligament last season and needed a year off, also being 16 I thought it may be time to start looking for my next horse (obviously still have the older boy he’s just slowly re habbing now!) As fortunate as I am to be able to have multiple horses I couldn’t afford anything ready made in the current market and even finding a the right type youngster was an expensive minefield! I finally found a just 4yo lightly backed ISH within budget and made the wild decision to buy her even though she’s a lot more blood than I’m used to, I had definitely over horsed myself but slowly we’re now getting there and we’ve entered our first ODE middle of April at Oxtalls, I feel like I’ve gone right back to square 1 and feel like I’m not capable of bringing on such a big talented youngster, I’m spending every penny on lessons to try and better myself and be the rider she needs and deserves to take her to her top potential, I’ve had so many wobbles along the way and I know there’s a long road ahead, I need to learn to manage my expectations and not be overwhelmed by people’s opinions around me, I have considered getting a mindset coach for a while as I’d love to see if it could help with my confidence and in return filter through to her as I can hardly expect her to feel confident when I’m struggling myself!
Hi, I’ve previously entered but I used my other email address (eibhlina@msn.com) rather than this one. I hope my previous entry is still valid.
Hi team horzehoods..
I thought I’d give this a go and see if you guys can help.
Little bit about me.. I’ve ridden from the age of 2, now 26. I am a college teacher for a small equine college. I have faced mental health difficulties since the age of 13 and horses were my medicine and escape, which leads me on to today.
I’ve been struggling with my confidence after a fall off my first horse where I fractured my coccyx and tore a muscle in my back. My anxiety has never let me forget this but it has never stopped me from trying to do what I love either. I’ve owned my current horse Alfie for almost 9 years and he is my saving grace (he also puts up with my whimpy arse which he deserves a medal for!). I’ve always had the dream of competing showjumping and /or dressage but the what ifs in my head always stop me from pushing myself to get where I want to go.
This “what if” voice follows me on every ride I go on and has really taken the love out of it which is quite honestly heartbreaking to say and I’ve been very close to giving it all up – but my horse loves his job and I don’t want to give up. This voice always says “but what if he trips” “what if he runs off or bronks” “what if you fall off and hurt yourself” “you’re not good enough for him” when in reality, I know he’s happy, fed, watered and wants for nothing but I am so sick of not feeling good enough and always being scared to ride my own horse who has given me SO much over the years. I want to be able to ride and have a smile on my face and gallop through a field again without a care in the world and not worry about what might happen.. I want to enjoy my horse again.
We recently attended a grid work clinic and I have never been so proud of myself for ignoring my thoughts and just going for it and I was on a high for days after, seeing Alfie’s happy pointed ears over each fence has really made me want to be as confident as I should be so we can go out and have fun together once again.
I hope this wasn’t too long of a read and I appreciate it if you got this far!
Thanks very much, Evie and Alfie.
